One day a few summers ago I picked up a book, never touched it again until a few weeks ago. It was by R.L Stine. It was about a set of twins that weren’t all that popular go out with a boy, at the same time! One twin knew that he was dating her sister but still went out with him. A book about puppy love and betrayal, this book will keep you on your toes and never keep your heart from being. This book is now my most favorite book. That is how I got my idea for my book. But mostly I thought of my own problems and if when I get so mad… on what I want to do to the people that are doing this. I had a dream once that I was stabbing someone with something. But I can’t remember what it was. So I embellished.
At first I had to think of a theme. A genre, and then what direction I wanted to take. I thought of taking it into a popular direction and have the mean girls a big roll. But then I decided to take it into perspective a geeky girl. I wrote my 1st draft and then had someone review it. When they did that I went back and changed it up a little. Then again I had someone look over it. And now I’m on my 3rd draft and still correcting.
For publishing I am going to send it into a teen girl magazine and then I’m going to publish it into a local library and Ms. Staff’s library.

Wow! Your story floored me. I was so shocked by the ending and the message that your story sent. It was the opposite of what I expected. I think that's what made it stand out and what made it powerful and very memorable. I was horrified by the ending, but because of that, I will never forget it. You twisted your story in a way that I didn't expect. Your reflection on the process is a great narrative. I love the way you broke from the question and answer format and just made it a piece of reflective writing. You are a deep thinker and a talented writer. When you push yourself, your work never ceases to impress!
