My Querencia

'These boots are made for walking.' My querencia would have to be my SHOES. When im wearing my shoes, i feel like im on top of the world; like i can run anywhere and do anything i want to. When i get out of bed, i feel naked without my shoes. When i put on my shoes, i feel grateful. They keep me as warm as the sun keeps the earth. i feel, as i am the richest person in the world! When i buy a new pair i feel i will never be poor, that my feet will never bleerd.

"I own my shoes, my shoes don't own me!" This is a quote alot of people say and believe, but for me it is not true! My shoes DO own me. I feel as comfortable as a broken-in-couch, but not because i break them in, because we become ONE! Even though they are shoes; rubber, fabric, lace and i'm a human; we are best friends! "THESE BOOTS ARE MADE FOR WALKIN" are the lyrics i live by.
